A big good news has come for the youth waiting for recruitment in Rajasthan Police. The official notification of Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2025 has been released on 9th April 2025. Under this recruitment, constables will be appointed to a total of 9617 posts across the state.
After getting financial and administrative approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs, now the application process is being started. The online application process will run from 28 April to 17 May 2025. For this recruitment, candidates have to apply online through the official website of Rajasthan Police. Before applying, candidates have to log in to the SSO portal and update their information.
Educational Qualification to Apply
Talking about educational qualifications, for this recruitment, the candidate must have passed 12th from a recognized board. Along with this, it is also necessary to pass Rajasthan CET 12th Level Exam 2024. In the selection process, candidates will have to go through several stages. These include written examinations, physical efficiency tests (PET/PMT), special qualifications, medical tests, and document verification. The written exam will be 150 marks while 20 marks will be added for special qualifications. The final merit will be made based on a total of 170 marks.
Age limit and salary
Talking about the age limit, the age of male candidates of the general category has been fixed from 18 to 24 years and for women from 18 to 29 years. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per the rules. Age will be calculated based on 1 January 2026. The application fee has been fixed at ₹ 600 for the general category and other state candidates, while ₹ 400 for the OBC, EWS, SC / ST category. Payment can be made online only through a one-time registration.
This recruitment has brought a golden opportunity for the unemployed youth of the state. Selected candidates will get ₹ 14,600 monthly remuneration during the initial 2 years of training. After this, regular pay scale and allowances will be given as per the Seventh Pay Commission.
