The final result of Round 1 of NEET UG Counselling 2025 has been released. The allotted candidates will have to report to the designated college from August 14. Before reporting, download the allotment letter from the MCC website and get all the necessary documents verified within the time limit.
NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 1 Final Result: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the final seat allotment result of the first round of counselling of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025. What to do next after getting a seat in Round 1?
Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 will have to report to their allotted college or institute from 14 August 2025. For this, first of all the candidate has to download the Allotment Letter from the MCC website and then complete the reporting within the given time.
Documents required for reporting (NEET UG Counselling 2025)
While reporting to the college, the candidate has to carry the original and photocopies of all the required documents. These include:
NEET UG Admit Card
NEET UG Scorecard
Allotment Letter (downloaded from MCC)
10th and 12th mark sheets
Category certificate (if applicable)
Passport size photo
Valid ID proof
Types of NEET UG Counselling 2025
NEET UG Counselling conducted by MCC is done for admission in MBBS and BDS in the top medical colleges of the country. There are mainly two types of counseling in this:
All India Quota (AIQ) Counseling
Held for 15% seats in government medical colleges across the country.
Admission to 100% seats in AMU, BHU, JMI and ESIC.
State Quota Counseling
Held for 85% seats in government medical colleges of the state.
Also for 100% seats in private medical colleges of the state.
Important advice for candidates (NEET UG Counseling 2025)
If you do not report on the allotted seat in Round 1, your seat will be given to another candidate and you may lose the opportunity to participate in the next round of counseling. Therefore, reporting on time and keeping the documents ready is very important.
