Emmerdale spot huge spoiler as Lisa Riley shares behind-the-scenes snaps

Fans of are abuzz after spotting what they believe to be a major plot spoiler, Lisa, 48, who brings the posted a filming update on her Instagram account, which has sent tongues wagging.

The photo depicts Lisa standing alongside a woman who is dressed in an identical outfit, sparking intrigue among viewers. Lisa's caption read: "As if one Mandy Dingle was not enough this morning filming at the village at @emmerdale ........you get TWO. THANKYOU to my lovely body double Angela, absolute sweetheart. Next time you get Mandy's Cowboy Boots also. Just another day at work! ! ! !".

has led fans to speculate that Mandy may be in grave danger, prompting a flurry of worried comments from devoted viewers. A fan expressed concern on social media, writing: "Not good if there's a stunt woman, it means Mandy is in trouble."

Lisa first stepped into Mandy's shoes in 1995 and after a break from the show, she made her Emmerdale return in 2019, where she has been stirring up drama ever since.

At the time, Lisa shared a message with her followers on shortly before Tuesday night's episode. The actor - who was initially on the show from 1995 to 2001, before returning in 2019 - said that it was the "best episode" she's "ever" seen.

During the episode, viewers saw Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) pulled out of the lake by Tracy Metcalfe ( ) after becoming . It has yet to be revealed whether she's .

Later, Kerry Wyatt ( ) was seen dragging herself and injured Leyla Harding ( ) across the ice to safety. Whilst Liam Cavanagh ( ) further deteriorated after sustaining a head injury in the crash.

In an interview with The , Lisa shared the cast's nerves about potential character exits, saying: "Whenever there is a stunt that involves a death, I will always be on standby to phone my agent. [In case] it means I am going to need to get a new job!".

Fortunately, Mandy emerged unscathed from the ordeal, but the same couldn't be said for three of her fellow villagers. The devastating event claimed the lives of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) and Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), leaving the community reeling.
