Kim Kardashian blasted as North, 12, steps out in corset and mini skirt

Kim Kardashian has been criticised for allowing her daughter North, 12, to wear a corset and mini skirt. The family are currently on holiday in Rome, Italy butfans took issue with the not-yet teenager's outfit.

North had her blue hair styled in pigtails and was taller than her mother, who wore a beautiful black silk dress. Meanwhile, North was wearing a corset and a very short skirt along with some chunky boots.

However, angry fans took to social media to fume over the outfit. One wrote: "Why does North look so grown?" as a second added: "What 12 year old wears a corset ???? Kim really doesn’t know how to be a sensible parent."

A third shared: "Her and Beyoncé are the same when it comes to how they dress their [children] in public….. this is literally a CHILD," with a fourth adding: "I swear north only dresses hyper femme like this when she's with Kim. Normally she's in oversized baggy clothes." A fifth penned: "North being 12 years old is insane to me."

North previously opened up about being in the spotlight - and the daughter of former power couple Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West. Kim and Kanye are now divorced, and the latter is with Bianca Censori.

Asked if she likes being on camera, she said: "I like taking pictures of myself, but I don’t like when paparazzi do. When I just woke up and there’s so much paparazzi, I’m like, 'Yo, I’m going to sue you.'

"If I’m ready, if I’m not tired, if my outfit’s good, I’m like, 'Okay, I could take a picture.'" And when her mum asked if she had a superpower, what would it be, she added: "I always wanted to pause time.

"When I was in class one day last year, I was like, 'I want to pause time and get all my work done, and then run out of class and go to Starbucks, and then go around to Japan and then go everywhere!'"

North and Kim also showed off her look on a TikTok post, where the pair share a joint account. North and Kim are on holiday in Italy alongside the rest of the family. Kim also has Psalm, six, Chicago, seven, and Saint, nine, with her ex Kanye.

Speaking about her daughter's love of fashion, she said: "Every time I come to the Met I love bringing my oldest daughter with me, just to see me get ready and all her aunties are in the hotel, and we're all getting ready together, so it's just a fun few days."

Explaining what her daughter taught her about fashion, she added: "She's a big critiquer, but it's pretty good, you know, her critiquing," she said. "But you know just be yourself, right?

"She's ... also, I think, in a really positive place, like vibe, right now, where it's just like, 'Hey, even if that's not my style, I'm not going to critique that because just be you and if you like that then that's what you should be into.' So, I love that energy, and so she was such a positive force tonight, like it was great."
