Manchester United boss has axed Alejandro Garnacho from his squad for today's final game of the season at home to . Garnacho went public with his anger at being omitted from the starting line-up for their 1-0 final defeat to in Bilbao.
After the defeat, which saw United miss out on a £100million spot in next season's , winger Garnacho spoke out over Amorim's decision to bench him. Garnacho claimed he had been mistreated by Amorim, having played a key role in helping get United to the final, branded the team's season "s***" and said he will consider his future over the summer.
“It’s hard for everyone," he said. “The season was s***, both now losing the final tonight, and in the league, where we didn’t beat anyone, that’s the truth.
" Up until the final, I’ve played every round, and today to play 20 minutes… I don’t know. I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens after.”

The Argentina international's brother, Roberto, took to social media to have a dig at Amorim, writing: "Working as no-one else, helping every round, coming from two goals in the last two finals, just to be on the pitch for 19 mins and get thrown under the bus."
Upon United's return to Manchester, Amorim held a team meeting at which he informed the squad he will remain in charge next season, and also informed Garnacho he will be sold following his public show of dissent in Bilbao.
Despite that, Amorim insisted that he remains a player and WILL go on their post-season tour, which sees the Red Devils fly out to Asia immediately after the conclusion of the campaign.
He told TNT Sport: “Alejandro Garnacho is a Manchester United player, he’s not in the squad today but he remains a Manchester United player.”
Pressed on whether he will be part of their trip to Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong, he added: “Yes, everybody is going because we have to go and meet our fans and give our fans something on the other side of the .”
Napoli had a £70m bid for Garnacho rejected in January but are expected to return with a fresh proposal for the 20-year-old this summer, although the revised offer is likely to be significantly less, around £50m.
Garnacho's partner Eva added further fuel to the fire hours before the clash with Villa, by posting a United kit with the caption "last match" along with a smiling and crying emoji.
