The love letter has created quite a buzz on the internet and social media users are amazed at the passion between the couple which seems to be missing in today's relationships.
In this era of social media, where people have many means to connect with each other, a former Indian Army officer has shared an old handwritten love letter written to him by his then girlfriend and now wife. This love letter has created a lot of buzz on the internet, and social media users are surprised by the passion between the couple, which seems to be missing in today's relationships.
In the viral video, Captain Dharamvir Singh revealed that the letter was written in 2001, shortly after he joined the Officers Training Academy in Chennai. "This letter was written on 10 December 2001. I joined the Officers Training Academy on 1 November 2001. This letter was written by Thakurain, who was my girlfriend at the time and who had the approval to become Thakurain," Captain Singh wrote.
Did 500 pushups
The officer said that for this letter he had to do 500 push-ups in the military academy, because it was given only after the soldier did so. "Seniors used to give us our letters after doing 100-50 push-ups. However, this letter was very big and seeing its weight, the seniors asked me to do 500 push-ups."
He further wrote, "This was the first letter I received in the Academy. It was a good time to write letters. The more effort was put into writing, the longer the feelings lasted."

Worth 500 pushups."
