WCL 2025 Champions : On the strength of AB de Villiers' stormy century, South Africa Champions defeated Pakistan Champions and won the WCL trophy. The South African Champions had a target of 196 runs to win, which they easily achieved with 19 balls to spare, losing one wicket. AB de Villiers was the hero of the victory, who scored an unbeaten 120 runs in 60 balls with the help of 12 fours and 7 sixes. He was supported by Jeff Duminy, who remained unbeaten after scoring 50 runs in 28 balls. Both shared a 125-run partnership for the second wicket. Saeed Ajmal took the only wicket for Pakistan.

Earlier, Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 195 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Sharjeel Khan scored the highest 76 runs for Pakistan. Apart from Sharjeel Khan, Umar Amin scored 36 and Asif Ali scored 28 runs. South Africa Champions made it to the finals by defeating Australia Champions in the semi-finals while the first semi-final between India and Pakistan was cancelled. The Indian team refused to play against Pakistan and the Pakistan team reached the finals. This was the second season of WCL. The first edition was won by India.
