Fans of BBC's Celebrity Traitors were left with raised eyebrows over the "innappropriate" funeral attire of one of the contestants. As the first "murder" took place on the show, the celebrities had to go through the ritual of attending the funeral where they were tasked with figuring out who was leaving the show. However Olympic diver Tom Daley's outfit got more attention than the proceedings as he opted to leave his shirt unbuttoned, showing off his tanned torso.
Taking to X, viewers couldn't help but remark on it. "Feels like Tom has an inappropriate number of buttons undone for a funeral," one commented. "Okay open shirt Tom. I see you. I see how it is," another added. A third observed: "Tom babe, you've missed a few buttons on the shirt." A fourth queried: "Why has Tom Daley got so many shirt buttons undone? Put it away, man!" A fifth quipped: "Tom's shirt nearly completely undone at a funeral, you tart." Meanwhile a sixth also found it amusing writing: "Tom with his chest out in the pouring rain. looool. I love him."
The celebrities all donned their mourning attire after the first murder took place in the castle. Comedian Alan Carr targeted his friend, singer Paloma Faith, to be the first victim of the traitors.
He touched her face as she slept, killing her "in plain sight". However the death wasn't immediate and she arrived at breakfast as if nothing had happened.
However host Claudia Winkleman soon revealed that the first murder had indeed taken place and invited them all to the graveyard, where they had to figure out who had been murdered through a series of clues.
Three coffins were on offer and they were ultimately filled by Paloma, YouTuber Niko Omilana and comedian Lucy Beaumont.

The remaining celebrities were then asked to figure out which of the three was the victim in order to have more money added to the prize pot.
As the traitors, Alan, chat show host Jonathan Ross and singer Cat Burns, tried to remain nonchalant, while the rest of the group felt Lucy was the first person taken out.
As Claudia shut the lid of Paloma's coffin, they audibly gasped, unable to believe she would be the first to leave the show.
The episode then ended on a cliffhanger as they returned to the castle for a round table and were asked to banish one person they believed to be a traitor.
Celebrity Traitors is on BBC One on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 9pm and available for catch up on iPlayer.
