Rushanara Ali, the Government's minister for Homelessness and Rough sleeping has been forced to quit. This is the woman who was forever banging on about how hard-up private tenants were being exploited and discriminated against by greedy landlords, and she promised Labour would end all that and "Empower people to challenge unreasonable rent increases." So, it's more than ironic that Ms Ali kicked out the four tenants renting her London townhouse having told them she was selling her property. Only she didn't sell it. She just re-listed it at £700 a month more than she was previously charging.
Spectacular hypocrisy from a woman who clearly isn't fit to hold her office. But still no apology. She says: "I followed all the relevant legal requirements." Is Ms Ali really so stupid she doesn't get that the Homelessness Minister making people homeless isn't a good look?

Zarah Sultana, chucked out of the Labour Party for voting to scrap the two-child benefit cap, says the new party she's starting with that other deadbeat, Jeremy Corbyn should be called The Left.
No luv, it should be called What's Left. Or even better, The Leftovers!

When dopey Ed Miliband promised his maniacal Net Zero drive would create 170,000 new jobs, we assumed he meant for British people not the Chinese!

Poor old Gary Linekar. He's gone from top banana at the BBC on £1.3M a year to a game show host on ITV which he'll never be able to hack because the job requires a big lively personality.
Which when you walk around with a face looking like a bulldog chewing a wasp - isn't immediately obvious.

Nearly three quarters of Gen Z and millennials say they'll bust their budget on luxury holidays - often by as much as £2,200 - because they want to make people jealous by having great photos on their socials.
Aren't these the same young people who are forever raging at us Baby Boomers for daring to own our own houses and crying that they'll never be able to afford one because life is so much harder now.
Most Baby Boomers were able to buy houses because they made sacrifices - like not going on ANY holidays let alone luxury ones they couldn't afford!

The fragrant Lady Starmer is often portrayed as the reluctant politician's wife. However, she seems to have enthusiastically grasped the politicians' concept of "snout in the trough" having accepted free tickets to Ascot this summer worth hundreds of pounds.
Incredibly this comes just a year after the freebie scandal where she and her greedy husband accepted free Taylor Swift tickets and free passes to Doncaster races.
So, while Lady Starmer might not like the day-to-day grind of being the PM's wife she sure as Hell likes the perks. Or maybe she sees them as reward for being married to the most boring man on the planet?

Illegal migrants are now being dumped in top British holiday resorts with three of Bournemouth's most popular sea front hotels now full of asylum seekers.
So, Brits can't even go on holiday with their kids without being besieged by unvetted, unidentified men from God knows where.
Will there be a hotel left in Britain that isn't commandeered by this government to hide and house the fruits of its incompetent immigration policies?

Civil Servants at HMRC were this week invited to a seminar called "Guilt of Being British".
It was held during office hours (so, paid for by us) with participants invited to talk about the "emotional weight of our colonial history" and "Inherited trauma."
Have you ever heard such time-wasting, woke tosh? HMRC isn't supposed to be a talking shop - despite the fact that some nonsense called Listening Circles are springing up in all government departments. It exists to collect the money this government is owed in tax.
And currently HMRC staff aren't doing that. They've been repeatedly criticised for not answering or cutting off hundreds of thousands of customers' calls.
And the tax gap - which is the amount that should be paid but for some reason hasn't been collected - amounts to a staggering £46.8B which is more or less what Reeves needs to fill her £50B black hole. So why hasn't Starmer put a rocket up these civil servants' backsides and told them to collect that instead of threatening to hit us with sky high taxes.
If HMRC staff really want to yap on about their guilt at being British, they shouldn't be working for the British Government, and they should be doing it in their own time using their own money!

JK Rowling was right to call for a boycott on M&S for allowing a burly 6ft 2in trans woman (a man in other words) to work in its lingerie dept.
It followed the company's apology to a mother after her 14-year-old daughter was approached in the bra section by the trans employee and asked if she needed help. The girl was "freaked out" and visibly upset, said her mother.
No biological man should be asking teenage girls in lingerie departments or their changing rooms if they need help with bras or underwear. These should be safe women's spaces, and the Supreme Court has ruled that they are.
But M&S did are doing what so many other companies are STILL doing - putting the rights of trans identifying men above women's rights. And it needs to stop!
