All eyes have been US President Donald Trump this week for his second state visit to the UK where he was greeted by the Prince and Princess of Wales when he arrived at Windsor Castle on Wednesday afternoon. The President and First Lady Melania went from a helicopter to horse-drawn carriages for an incredible royal parade featuring more than 1,500 military personnel.
Trump and his wife were among 160 guests at King Charles III's lavish dinner at Windsor Castle, which included Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The monarch emphasised the deep links between the US and UK and the need to maintain trading links as part of the meal. During the banquet, Trump commended Prince William by telling everyone he would be an "unbelievable success in the future". He also said Princess Kate looked "so healthy and so beautiful".

Today, Trump and the First Lady flew to Chequers, where they were welcomed by Starmer and his wife, Lady Victoria. They signed a new technology partnership, which the Prime Minister claimed would see billions coming in "both ways of the Atlantic".
During a press conference, they praised the "unbreakable bond" between their two nations.
The state visit concluded this afternoon (Thursday, September 18), and one person who received a phone call from Trump was Piers Morgan, who has shared with his followers what the world leader and his wife really thought about the past few days in the UK.
Taking to his millions of followers on X, Morgan shared a picture of himself with Trump wearing dark suits and said: "President Trump called me for a 10-minute chat before leaving Windsor.
"He was on great form - absolutely loved his big royal day, and being back in the UK again."
The broadcaster, who hosts Piers Morgan Uncensored, concluded: "Spoke to the First Lady too, who sounded equally happy about how it's all going on the state visit. Great to hear!"
