The is British TV's highest honours and getting a ticket is pretty hard to come by, just ask the stars of ITV's Loose Women who found themselves out in the cold last year after being refused entry.
The annual ceremony sees some of the biggest names in the industry to celebrate the best of what's been on the box in the last 12 months. This includes drama series like Baby Reindeer, Mr Bates vs The Post Office, and One Day, but also beloved soaps and daytime shows.
Last year, stars and Judi Love had high hopes of their show winning the Best Daytime award. All dolled-up and filming on the red carpet, the two presenters were unfortunately denied entry to the prestigious event for one very simple reason.
Revealed the following day by their co-star Coleen Nolan, she couldn't resist reminding them of the very "embarrassing" moment, which was happily caught on camera.
Reflecting on the evening's events, questioned what happened when they first walked into London's Royal Festival Hall. "What about that entrance thing where you were dancing in?" Coleen asked, adding: "This is so embarrassing!" Charlene went on to recall how they were on the red carpet and started dancing while the DJ was playing Justin Timberlake.
The star went on: "This was our grand entrance into the Royal Festival Hall in front of everybody and we danced our way... and you can see what happens next."
A video began playing of the two presenters dancing as they prepared to enter the event, with Charlene turning to the crowd to give them one last look before they walked in.
However, as they attempted to stroll through the door, a security guard stopped them to ask for their tickets. Charlene could be heard saying: "We can't get in. Ash has got our tickets," before the camera cut off.

Needless to say, the ITV studio audience fell about laughing as Charlene confessed: "Yeah. They wouldn't let us in." In a further attempt to get in, Judi tried the old "don't you know who we are?" and said that they were from Loose Women, however, security held firm.
In addition to their pleas, they revealed that a member of the event team also tried to help. Charlene added: "Someone said, 'They're obviously meant to be here because they're all dressed up'. But the security guard was like, 'Nope. No tickets'."
Luckily, they did manage to make it inside but missed out on winning the Best Daytime award as they were beaten by One's Scam Interceptors. The show is nominated for the same award on Sunday evening, going up against Clive Myrie's Caribbean Adventure, Morning Live, and Richard Osman's House Of Games. Ladies, don't forget your tickets!
The Bafta Television Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday 11 May and is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
