Actor Ankita Lokhande has announced the cancellation of her upcoming USA tour, expressing solidarity with the victims of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Taking to social media, Ankita shared a heartfelt note, stating her decision was made out of respect for the grieving families and the collective mourning of the nation.

“Hello everyone, with a heavy heart, I want to share that we are cancelling my upcoming USA shows. In light of the tragic terror attacks in Pahalgam and the pain our nation is going through, I feel it would not be right to go ahead with the tour at this time,” Ankita wrote. “My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. As an Indian, I stand with everyone grieving this heartbreaking loss.”

She further added that the shows are not being cancelled permanently and that the tour will be rescheduled for a later date when the timing feels more appropriate. “I look forward to meeting you all soon under better and more peaceful circumstances. Thank you for your love, understanding, and constant support,” she concluded.

Currently seen on Laughter Chefs 2 alongside her husband Vicky Jain, Ankita continues to stay in the spotlight. The couple recently took a fun-filled trip to Mauritius with close friends Chetna Pande, Isha Malviya, and Nishank Swami. Their adventure included thrilling jungle trails, quad biking, and wildlife spotting — a brief escape before returning to regular commitments.

Despite her packed schedule, Ankita’s decision highlights her deep emotional connection to national sentiments and her respect for the collective grief felt across the country.
