The vibrant energy of Kolkata pulsed through the packed venue for the 20th edition of 'Ebong Rubesh' on April 6 at a city cafe. More than just a concert, it was a heartfelt celebration of Rubesh Sircar's enduring musical journey and the special bond he shares with his audience. The milestone event resonated deeply as he presented a selection of his original compositions, seamlessly weaving between English and Bengali lyrics.

Rajoshi Bhattacharya, a long-time admirer, shared her experience: "The first time I saw his performance at Beleghata HQ, which is his home, I loved it. I admire his songs because at this time when I listen to other Bengali original songs, Rubesh Da's songs have something different – it's the uniqueness of the lyrics, the compositions. He is a very bright and positive person, it reflects in his songs as well. His songs talk about healing, introspection, and love. I loved the way he connects with people while performing. I believe one day his songs will reach more people and looking forward to more concerts of Rubesh da." Rajoshi's words beautifully capture the essence of Rubesh's appeal – his ability to craft songs that resonate deeply, imbued with positivity and fostering a joyful connection with his listeners.

I was joined on stage by the talented Shrestha Das, Rajoshi Bhattacharyya, and Shiladitya, who lent their voices to several of my songs. The evening concluded on a high note with a surprise performance by Upal Sengupta, whose rendition of 'Bheshe Jaay Adorer Nouko' left the audience spellbound."
