TIRUPATI: NIA sleuths and Andhra Pradesh police on Saturday arrested a man and a woman for questioning over alleged links to Pakistan-based terror outfits.
The man, identified as Kothwal Noor Mohammed of Dharmavaram, is accused of being active in several prohibited terrorism-linked social media groups and making frequent calls and WhatsApp exchanges with suspected operatives across the border, police said.
NIA also picked up a 35-year-old woman from Tadipatri, alleged to have been in regular touch with Mohammed. Police also detained an autorickshaw driver Riyaz for allegedly putting an anti-India message on social media.
