Special Edition Pays Homage to Isle of Man TT Heritage with Unique Paint, Performance Aids, and Standard Add-Ons

British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has officially unveiled the Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition, a special edition of its popular middleweight naked bike. Designed as a tribute to Triumph’s Isle of Man TT racing legacy, the model stands out with a distinctive tri-colour paint scheme, standard performance accessories, and a nod to the legendary “Slippery Sam” — the 750 cc Trident that clinched five consecutive TT victories in the 1970s.

Design: Race-Inspired Styling with Exclusive Graphics

The Triple Tribute Edition features a Sapphire Black base colour accentuated with Cobalt Blue and Diablo Red highlights. The ‘67’ race number graphic on the fuel tank pays homage to Triumph’s historic racing icon. The edition also includes:

• Diablo Red 17-inch wheels

• Sapphire Black flyscreen with matching graphics

• Belly pan and Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter, now standard

These features not only enhance aesthetics but also improve functionality and performance — previously offered as optional accessories on the standard Trident 660.

The Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition inherits all the rider-focused technologies from the updated Trident 660 platform, including:

Under the bodywork, the Trident 660 Triple Tribute retains the proven 660 cc inline-three cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, delivering:

• 81 bhp @ 10,250 rpm

• 63.7 Nm of torque @ 6,250 rpm

• Six-speed gearbox paired with a Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter

The chassis is built around a tubular steel frame, supported by 41 mm Showa USD forks at the front and a Showa preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Twin 310 mm front discs and a 255 mm rear disc provide stopping power, ensuring confidence and control across riding conditions.

Pricing and Global Availability

The Triumph Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition is priced from $8,595 (approx. ₹7.26 lakh). While currently announced for global markets, Triumph may bring the special edition to India at a slight premium over the standard model.
