Rabada returns to competitive action after serving a one-month suspension imposed by the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport (SAIDS) due to the use of a prohibited substance during the SA20 tournament.

Following a transparent admission of the violation, Rabada cooperated with SAIDS, completed a mandatory rehabilitation program, and was cleared to resume cricket duties. Now reinstated, he is eligible not only for the remaining IPL 2025 matches but also for selection in the upcoming ICC World Test Championship Final in June at Lord’s, where South Africa will face Australia.
